Nous proposons un immeuble compact et rigoureux dont l’organisation interne est classique. Un déformé de la façade Ouest permet de régler la continuité bâtie en respectant le gabarit des maisons de villes qui constituent la place Van Pelt.
La construction qui occupe la quasi-totalité de la parcelle est délimitée par le mur constituant la paroi du parking et les parties vitrées du hall. Le pourtour est également souligné par une composition de profils en aluminium laqué qui assurent la fermeture ventilée du parking au RDC, et apporte un jeu cinétique à la façade.
Les façades sont en prémurs thermiques, ce qui offre d’une part une finition béton sur l'ensemble du bâtiment, tantôt le béton est lasuré en taupe, tantôt en blanc afin de souligner les creux, et permet d’autre part de répondre à la demande d’un bâtiment THPE (très haute performance énergétique). Quelques volumes en partie haute du projet sont réalisés en bardage zinc noir afin d’apporter profondeur et contraste à l’ensemble bâti. En façade avant sur la rue des déportés on trouve aussi une bande verticale en réglit qui éclaire naturellement la circulation verticale. Le même dispositif est mis en œuvre pour les circulations horizontales, elles aussi naturellement éclairées dans la majorité des niveaux.
We propose a compact and rigorous building with a traditional internal organisation. A distortion of the West facade allows to adjust the built continuity while respecting the template of the town houses which constitute the Van Pelt square.
The building which occupies almost the entire plot is delimited by the wall constituting the car park and the glazed parts of the hallway. The perimeter is also highlighted by a composition of lacquered aluminium profiles that ensure the ventilated closure of the car park on the ground floor, and brings a kinetic game to the facade.
The facades are made of thermal precast, which offers on the one hand a concrete finish for the whole building, sometimes the concrete is stained in taupe, sometimes in white to emphasize the hollows, and allows on the other hand to respond to the demand of a VHPE building (very high energy performance). Some volumes in the upper part of the project are made of black zinc cladding to bring depth and contrast to the built complex. At the front facade on the Déportés Street, there is also a vertical band in réglit which naturally illuminates the vertical circulation. The same device is used for horizontal circulations, they also are naturally lit for the majority of the levels.
