Avec la salle de spectacle« La Nouvelle Scène » et un ensemble administratif et de coworking, le pôle petite enfance compose un triumvirat architectural d’entrée de ville ouvert sur le panorama de champs et de prairies s’inscrivant dans un méandre de la rivière de l’Ingon. S’ils adoptent le langage urbain d’un front bâti en alignement côté accès, les trois bâtiments créent, côté paysage, une ligne brisée qui fait écho à celle de la ripisylve accompagnant le méandre.

Equipement le plus petit, la crèche s’affirme néanmoins par la singularité concave de sa toiture et l’extrusion courbe au sein du bâtiment d’une cour patio. Les salles d’activités y trouvent des prolongements extérieurs protégés offrant des vues privilégiées sur le paysage. La composition en courbes combinées est ici autant l’élément établissant les continuités entre intérieur et extérieur que celui d’un langage spatial rappelant les formes douces de l’univers enfantin ; en somme, une architecture favorisant l’apprentissage spatial et l’ouverture au monde…

Together with the "La Nouvelle Scène" theater and an administrative and coworking complex, the early childhood center composes an architectural triumvirate at the entrance to the city, open to the panorama of fields and meadows in a meander of the Ingon river. If they adopt the urban language of a built front in alignment on the access side, the three buildings create, on the landscape side, a broken line that echoes that of the riparian forest accompanying the meander.

The smallest facility, the crèche, nevertheless asserts itself by the concave singularity of its roof and the curved extrusion of a courtyard patio within the building. The activity rooms find there protected exterior extensions offering privileged views on the landscape. The composition in combined curves is here as much the element establishing the continuities between interior and exterior as that of a spatial language recalling the soft forms of the child's universe; in short, an architecture favoring spatial learning and openness to the world...
