Le programme distingue deux catégories d’espaces; les locaux tertiaires et les ateliers. Les premiers présentent une grande souplesse dans leur capacité à se glisser dans un multitude de combinaisons spatiales. Les seconds opposent au contraire un «process » délimité par leurs aires de manœuvres qui en font des espaces « points durs »  rigoureusement déterminés par leur fonction. A l’image de la rivière, le continuum spatial des entités tertiaires fait son « lit » en serpentant du parvis d’entrée aux deux ateliers robotiques et composite du plateau haut du périmètre protégé. Si ses contours répondent aux courbes du paysage et font écho aux circonvolutions de la vallée de la Somme, il s’agit bien ici d’une traduction spatiale à l’organisation fonctionnelle du programme. La sinuosité est une réponse ergonomique et calibrée pour optimiser l’espace, réduire les longueurs de circulation au profit d’un usage rationalisé. Elle établit en outre un  rapport identitaire de géométries spécifiques pour chaque entité traversée. En ce sens, le parti du projet architectural est de faire de la richesse géométrique un outil d’organisation et de cohérence spatiale.

Tourné résolument vers l’avenir et la modernité, le C2TR doit présenter une image architecturale représentative de son esprit qui traduise les caractères de technologie, d’innovation, de compétitivité mais aussi de confidentialité. La modernité est vivante,mouvante, évolutive. Le projet propose une architecture moderne qui exprime le mouvement de la vitesse et de la performance.

The program distinguishes two space categories: tertiary premises and workshops. The first category has a great flexibility in its ability to slip into a multitude of spatial combinations. Unlike the second which opposes a “process” delimited by their manoeuvring areas making them “hard point” areas rigorously determined by their function. As the river, the spatial continuum of the tertiary premises follows the parvis to the two robotic workshops and composite of the protected perimeter higher plateau. If its outlines respond to the curves of the landscape and echo the convolutions of the Somme valley, it means that this is a spatial translation to the functional organisation of the project. Sinuosity is an ergonomic and calibrated answer to optimize the space, reduce the lengths of circulation in favour of a more rational use. It also establishes an identity relationship of specific geometries for each transitentity. In this sense, the party of the architectural project is to make out of geometry a powerful organisational tool for spatial consistency.

Focused on the future and modernity, the C2TR must offer a representative architecture of its spirit that reflects the characteristics of technology, innovation, competitiveness and confidentiality as well. Modernity is alive, moving and evolving. The project shows a modern architecture which expresses the movement of speed and performance.
